Sara Graham lives in Gig Harbor, WA. She has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life and raised her family there. Sara graduated from the university of Washington with her degree in Kinesiology. She was a member of the track and cross country teams and later competed as a professional triathlete and cyclist. She currently teaches fitness classes at the Gig Harbor YMCA.

She has hiked and biked many miles on and around Mt Rainier and enjoys seeking adventure and encouraging others to share her passion. Her love of Mount Rainier National Park and the beauty of God’s creation inspired her to write and illustrate her first picture book and she is excited to write more Bear Family adventure books in the future.​
